Auto Trader CEO to retire in March next year

Auto Trader Group said Trevor Mather would retire as CEO at the end of March next year.

In line with the company's long-term succession planning, Nathan Coe, currently Auto Trader's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, would be promoted to the role of CEO-designate with effect from 1 May 2019.

Mr Coe would continue to be responsible for finance until taking over the CEO role full time following Trevor's departure in March 2020, the company said.

Jamie Warner, is currently Auto Trader's Deputy CFO, would be promoted to CFO-designate with effect from 1 May 2019.

Catherine Faiers, currently Auto Trader's Operations Director, would be promoted to COO from 1 May 2019.
