Exploration success at Irish well

Exploration undertaken by Providence Resources at its Barryroe well in the North Celtic Sea basin off Ireland has confirmed the existence of highly mobile light sweet oil.The upper gas bearing zone at the well is currently being prepared for testing.
Last December San Leon Energy assigned its 30% working interest to Providence in exchange for a 4.5% NPI on the full field. It will not pay any further appraisal or development costs on the licence and is not paying any costs towards the well.
