Acta launches PUREFlame 600

Clean energy products group Acta has launched PUREFlame 600, a larger model of the PureFlame 300 gas welding system which it announced in November.The PUREFlame 600 is a high performance and low cost oxygen-hydrogen generator for flame torch welding, soldering and brazing.
It delivers a high temperature, clean, carbon free and stable flame and has been developed for the professional welding market.
The new product delivers 400 litres of hydrogen and 200 litres of oxygen per hour, and is based on a new lower cost and lower weight stack design and power system.
Following completion and testing of the new system, Acta has successfully demonstrated the prototype to its French welding system manufacturing partner, CBIL.
Under the terms of the commercialisation agreement with CBIL, Acta will supply the new stack and electronic control board to CBIL, which will be responsible for production of the product's balance of plant and certification.
