Eckoh clinches two contracts in utility sector

Speech recognition specialist Eckoh has been selected by three water companies, including Bristol Wessex Billing Services, to provide the EckohPAY secure card payments solution.BWBSL is the combined billing service jointly owned by Bristol Water and Wessex Water, which serves 1,100,000 customers.
The third water company, based in the south of England, supplies water services to approximately half a million people.
Both of these new contracts are three years in duration and through the provision of EckohPAY, Eckoh's real-time PCI DSS compliant card payment service, they will allow customers to make their water bill payments 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
