Canadian Pacific Railway's first-quarter net income jumped to $142m - an increase of 318% from the corresponding period in 2011.
Diluted earnings per share rose by 310% to $0.82. President chief executive Fred Green said: ‚€?Our record operating metrics are driving enhanced financial results, as evidenced by a strong first quarter performance.
