African Eagle Resource raise £9.5m

African Eagle Resources has raised £9.5m from a placing and open offer.There was a placing of 200,000,000 new ordinary shares at 4p per share to institutional and other investors which yielded gross proceeds of £8m.
In addition it has received applications from eligible shareholders for the open offer of 38,918,709 shares at 4p each which produced gross proceeds of £1,556,748.
